It has become essential to improve the teaching skills & knowledge of the teachers and also the learning experience of students to improve quality of education. The Quality Improvement Cell (QIC) was created at Agni College of Technology with Dr. Srinivasan Alavandar, Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering as the in-charge of the cell.

Quality Improvement Cell implements and monitors strategies that are needed to ensure that faculty and students are exposed to the various learning resources available through different sources for the improvement of teaching and learning experience.

The college has installed more than 10 computers with internet in various places and several computers with internet in the digital library. These computers are available to faculty and students and loaded with several open online course materials like NPTEL, CFD, and Bridge course CD’s by DOTE, etc.

All the NPTEL Videos and Lectures are made available through College LAN. These computers are available for access in their free time, even after college hours. Further, the faculty members of all the departments can download their corresponding subjects from NPTEL, CFD websites and keep them stored as DVDs to use during the course. Mapping of NPTEL Videos with the university subject syllabus is included in their lesson plan to assist the students.
