About The Department

The Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering was established in the year 2016-2017 and offers an undergraduate course in Mechanical and Automation Engineering. This program is designed in such a way to teach the fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering and Applications of Automation. Students are taken through the application of Physical Principles of Conservation of Force, Mass and Energy, Design of Mechanism, Machine Elements, and automation of various Mechanical and Industrial Processes.

With an array of employment opportunities, Mechanical and Automation Engineering is one of the top choices of students in India. Manufacturing firms, industries in both private and public sectors, various government departments such as CPWD, Defense, PWD, Telegraphs and Postal all offer a variety of employment opportunities to Mechanical and Automation Engineers.
