To impart the practical knowledge of functioning of various power system components and determination of various parameters and simulation of load flows, transient stability, LFC and Economic dispatch. The Power Systems Simulation Laboratory (PSSL) research areas include modelling, simulation, and optimization of electric power systems (reliability); and planning, protection, automation, control and power quality. The lab is equipped with power system simulation software and hardware simulators.
