Founded in 2016 by Mr Agnishwar Jayaprakash (Agni alumnus), Garuda Aerospace designs, builds and customises UAVs for agricultural surveys, reconnaissance, surveillance and emergency delivery. The startup was selected by the United Nations as one of the Top 10 Socio-Economic innovations of 2016.
Garuda is setting up Asia's largest drone manufacturing facility in Chennai with a capacity of 100 drones per day — and is backed by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
