Industry Immersive from Semester 2

WIL begins from the 2nd semester — ensuring students get early industry exposure throughout their entire academic journey at Agni College of Technology, Chennai.

4 to 12 Weeks Per Semester

Each WIL activity runs 4–8 weeks per semester, and 12 weeks in the final semester, covering all bachelor degree programs affiliated to Anna University.

WIL Partnership Process – What Happens Next?

MoU & Introduction: The ACT management team visits your organization by appointment, presents the WIL program details to your authorities, and formalizes the partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Student Selection: Industry partners brief 2nd semester students about their organization and select 5–15 students based on minor assessment (if required) as per the agreed learning framework — deep learning or broad learning.

Mentoring & Evaluation: Students work alongside an identified industry mentor throughout the WIL program. At the end of each activity, the mentor also acts as evaluator, assigning credits or points based on expected outcomes.
