The Ministry of Education, Government of India, established the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on November 21, 2018, with the goal of cultivating a culture of innovation within educational institutions. Agni College of Technology is honored to be selected as a leading center in building an innovation ecosystem on campus. This initiative enables the college to inspire and support young students, transforming their innovative ideas into functional prototypes, paving the way for entrepreneurship.

Through this initiative, the Government of India offers innovators the opportunity to develop and nurture their groundbreaking ideas into market-ready products. Since its launch in 2008, the Government has provided financial assistance covering 75% to 85% of project costs, up to a maximum of ₹8.00 Lakh, for commercialization through Business Incubators (BIS).

The Agni College of Technology MSME Incubation Centre is recognized by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India. The centre provides critical support to students, helping them validate their ideas and create working prototypes.
The Agni College of Technology MSME Incubation Centre is spread over 2000 sq. ft. and provides:

A modern workspace for incubators.
Communication and computing facilities.
Equipment for prototype development.
Library and training center access.
Assistance with company registration and patent filing.
Travel and food allowances for selected projects.

The centre also organizes awareness programs and networking events to connect students with industry leaders and venture capitalists.

Our Vision

To create 100 student-owned tech startups and generate 7,500 employment opportunities within the next 5 years. This vision will be achieved by establishing a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem supported by the institution.

Our Mission

To help students launch their startups on campus, thus contributing to the economic and social development of the region. The strategies include:
