Cutting-Edge Laboratories And Facilities

State-of-the-art facilities are a characteristic feature of our programme M.E Computer Science and Engineering at Agni College of Technology. The programme imparts world class training and research and computing facilities to the students. It also promotes active industry-institute collaboration by identifying areas of interest and participating in sponsored research projects and consultancy services. Some of the fields in which research was carried out by our faculty and students include Networks, Database, Theoretical Computer Science, Multimedia, Image Processing, Software Engineering and Data Mining.

Our programme for M.E Computer Science and Engineering provides extensive computing resources for research and education. This includes more than 50 high-performance computers in the range of Linux, Windows workstations and a good number of laptop systems. In addition to general purpose file server, the department maintains two specialized servers for database clients and Linux based workstations. Department network communications include a fiber optic backbone, offering 40 Mbps connectivity to the commodity internet and provides intranet within the Hi-tech lab, which hosts four laboratories. The department has wireless internet connectivity via a campus-wide 802.11b network to the laptops.
